The forgiveness that we give affirms the identity that we share. There is a real vision of the church that emerges from Philemon and it is in people discovering just who they really are in Christ as they really experience the body of Christ; when we receive them, restore them, and redeem them as Jesus does. There is real freedom to be experienced within our fellowship. Faith, hope, and love shared with our community around us.

A lifestyle of forgiveness assures us that we have been forgiven. God entrusts the new life of the  forgiven to those, who can forgive.

None of us is ever fast enough to outrun our memories and many times they catch up to us and define us. Jesus promises to reform our identity through the promise of purpose and power. The Father begins to recreate the life, mission, and identity of Jesus in us through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

As the woman from Sychar discovered, God’s response to the thirsty soul is a relationship with Himself. This meeting in Samaria was the intersection of desperate human thirst and the mission of God to bring life through the Son: for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. Worship is for the thirsty. It is THE expression of our intimacy with the Father.

Life has a way of leaving us thirsty. Only a relationship with God the Father can satisfy our thirst for life.

A relationship with God the Father leads us into freedom that overcomes overwhelming fear.
