White Christmas II

White Christmas II

[cvm_video id="13882"] Stains really do talk, don’t they? They say things like, “Klutz,” “Slow down,” “Butterfingers,” “Use a napkin, next time,” “Don’t you know you should never wear a white shirt when you eat Italian?” The worst stains can scream, “Ruined!” Sin leaves much more embarrassing, shameful, relationship-ending, poor-choice kinds of stains; stains from poor judgment, stains from selfish behavior, stains from illicit, unbridled passions. And at there very worst, they scream out, “Ruined! Don’t bother trying to clean this up. It’s hopeless. Nothing gets this out. Cover it up, but forget about removing it.” Christmas tolls a different message. Christmas offers to redeem us from the failures that could ruin us. Centuries before Isaiah communicated God’s promise of thorough cleansing from sin, King David desperately hoped for the same.
