Message: “CALIBRATE: Treasure” from J Bruce RItter Jr
Calibrating our finances with God’s promises requires the aligning of our hearts with His Truth.
Calibrating our finances with God’s promises requires the aligning of our hearts with His Truth.
When God releases vision in your life, He requires calibration. The Lord will test our hearts to ready us for His plans.
To calibrate means to correlate or align an instruments readings with those of a standard in order to maintain accuracy. What’s the standard, by which something is being measured?
In this series, we’re going to calibrate our lives, align our lives around the ultimate standard; God’s truth. And we’re going to calibrate some specific components of our lives; our vision or purpose, our finances, our health, and our values; we want to align them all with God’s Word.
Our potential in servant-leadership is rooted in God’s Design.
Rebellion risks the forfeit of one’s potential in God’s intended, sovereign purpose.
Family shapes our identity. Spiritual Families can shape our identities by providing emotional anchors and supportive relationships that help us embrace our God-given purpose and destiny.
We learn some of our most important Biblical lessons by sharing life with our brothers and sisters. We cannot afford to miss connections in the household of faith.
Acts 9:26-27

God’s power transform lives requires people of faith to affirm it in them.
Mercy-rich followers of Jesus create a spiritual family for those, who need mercy the most.
There’s something in all of us that wants a sense of purpose or mission to our lives. We want the prayers we pray to make a difference. We want the example we set make a difference. We want the faith we hold to and the testimony we keep make a difference. We want to believe that the life we live for Jesus can help others know Him and live closer to Him. Saul had a conversion because the Gospel is the message that God forgives. Its power to save has a lot to do with how you and I live it out. A life lived close to Jesus will move others to Him.
There’s something in all of us that wants a purpose to what’s happening in our lives. The most important truth that we can hold on to is that God brings us into relationship through forgiveness. Forgiveness is THE starting point, where God wants to build a relationship with us.
