Message: “Show Mercy 3” from J Bruce RItter Jr
When something goes missing, what’s lost is more urgent that what’s not lost.

Spirituality leads not so much to how God sees us, but to how we see others.
People in jeopardy need churches driven by mercy.
Prophetic Truth (The Bible) doesn’t simply reveal our destiny. It also changes our trajectory.
Prophetic truth doesn’t merely change our destiny, it shapes our trajectory.
Who you become and what you accomplish in will depend upon your God-centered identity.

Christmas with all of the activity and pageantry and the expectation, surprisingly, can leave you not feeling much of anything. I’m not saying you’re on Ebeneezer Scrooge’s trajectory, but still, you might find yourself thinking: “I’m just not feeling it.”
That can happen spiritually, too. You can sense distance in your relationship with God and, even the Church. It could happen in the news of family or personal crisis. It happens in a crisis of faith. Perhaps you’ve recently come through a time of questioning your own faith or the faith of your parents and the God that once felt so near to you as a child or teenager, you wonder now is He even real and if He’s real, can I even know Him. And still others feel the distance in a season where you’ve turned from Him. Personal lifestyle choices that you knew were hindrances to your walk with God drove a wedge and He feels so far away and you wonder if you will ever feel that connection again.
The Arrival of Christmas brings with it an invitation into the purposes and plans of God.
