The Belong Series: Everyone Belongs to Ministry
What happens when you find out that you are not who you thought you were? You realized that you weren’t prepared for the challenge. You weren’t as faithful, as strong, as noble, as honest, as reliable, as dependable, as good, or as convincing as you thought you were and maybe even expressed to others. That day came for the most well-known Christ-follower in history, the man we know as Simon Peter. A man that everyone knew belonged to Jesus, in a moment of testing, suddenly starts telling everyone that he doesn’t. He denies even knowing Jesus, but we read in John 21 of Peter’s restoration and it ends with Jesus’ commission to Peter; “Feed my sheep.” Belonging to the body of Christ ALWAYS leads to giving ourselves in servant ministry with others.”
